Mail Order FAQs

How is the product packed?

All our meat is delivered to your door by an overnight courier FRESH, vacuum packed and in chilled containers.

What is the shelf life?

All meats must be refrigerated immediately on delivery.  Any items that will not be used within 48 hours should be frozen on arrival. 

When will my order be delivered?

Delivery is normally on the Thursday following receipt of your order.  You will be advised of any delay in the order being despatched.  We will always acknowledge receipt of your order and if this does not happen please call 01285 869414 to ensure that we have received your order.

When do you take payment?

You will receive a telephone call around lunchtime the day before your delivery is due.  We will require valid Debit or Credit card details (except American Express).  As soon as the payment is processed your order will be despatched.  Please ensure that you are available on the contact number you have provided as your order will not be despatched until we receive payment.

How much is the delivery charge?

Please note changes to delivery charges as of the 1st December 2014.

  • All orders over £60.00 but under 10kgs in weight - Free delivery
  • All orders under £60.00 and under 10kgs - £8.00 for Next Day
  • All orders over 10kgs in weight will be charged at the standard next day carrier rate - we currently use DHL
